Law Society Foundation

The Law Society Foundation (‘Foundation’) is a registered Canadian charity administered by The Law Society of Ontario. Founded in 1962, the Foundation was established to manage funds raised from the legal profession to provide financial assistance to students in need as they pursued their law degrees and admission to the Bar of Ontario.The Foundation’s mandate has expanded significantly since that time. We serve the public and the legal profession by encouraging and promoting legal education in Ontario; by preserving objects of historic significance to Canada’s legal heritage and by reaching out to those in need through the Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program.
