This policy outlines the core values of patient centred care as they are expressed at Humber River Hospital. These values were developed in consultation with patients and their families, staff and physicians and community partners in accordance with The Excellent Care for All Act, 2010.

The Declaration of Values helps patients and their families know what they can expect when receiving healthcare service and what is expected of them. It also sets out behavioural expectations for staff and physicians.
